Disasters: Nurses canvass for Federal Emergency plan
By: CHIOMA UMEHA To curtail the growing incidences of disasters, health professionals under the umbrella of the West African College of Nursing, WACN, have advocated for a Federal Emergency Plan that will be adopted at State and Local Government levels. According to the nurses, the Federal Emergency Plan will address the recurring gap between events and efforts to save lives.
