On June 14, 2022, selected HealthTech startups will present to investors at the first edition of the Nigerian Healthcare Excellence Award (NHEA) Webinar.

The webinar is one of the pre activities to kick off the eighth edition of the annual NHEA award ceremony, according to a statement issued by Moses Braimah, NHEA Director, Marketing, Communication, and Strategy.

According to the press release, "selected HealthTech startups will also be given the opportunity to pitch to investors."

The theme of the webinar is the same as the theme of this year's NHEA 2022, which is Innovative Healthcare Services in an Era of Change.

"Post COVID, the healthcare system worldwide has undergone a paradigm shift, and healthcare firms have been pushed to innovate to stay in business," said Dr. Egbe Osifo-Dawodu, Principal Partner Anadach Group, during the webinar. It is very usual to see new and updated methods of delivering healthcare services.

The goal of this webinar is to highlight how innovation has helped to improve healthcare delivery." Dr. Wale Alabi, NHEA Project Director says it took a while coming but we are happy that this NHEA pre-event webinar has finally belted. It will be a great platform to interact, integrate and collaborate with our young and upcoming innovative geeks into the values and benefits of the Award.”

The webinar is expected to present an opportunity for HealthTech promoters to pitch to industry stakeholders in the audience, as well as an opportunity to solicit real-time feedback, and advice and connect with stakeholders in the health tech ecosystem to encourage further collaboration. NHEA has sent a call for pitches and the screening process will be done by Anadach and Global Health Project and Resources (GHPR).

NHEA is a partnership between Global Health Projects & Resources and Anadach Group. The award is given out annually to recognize individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the development of the healthcare sector by providing innovative, efficient, and high-quality healthcare delivery services that have positively impacted the health and well-being of Nigerians at home and abroad.
