Embrace The Spirit Of Easter By Reflecting On Jesus Christ's Virtues, Advises Enabulele

Dr. Osahon Enabulele, immediate Past President of World Medical Association (WMA),   has urged Christians worldwide to reflect and emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ as they celebrate Easter.
In a press statement signed and provided to journalists Dr. Enabulele stressed the importance of Christians engaging in solemn reflections on the virtues of forgiveness, tolerance, love, and peace.

The statement partly reads, "As we bask in the Celebration, I appeal to all citizens to use the golden opportunity of the Easter season to undertake solemn reflections that sacrificially manifest the cherished virtues of forgiveness, tolerance, love, peace and unity."

"It is my hope that a stronger commitment to the lesson of this season will provide the needed spark for the resolution of many challenges and conflicts that still bedevil our communities and Countries. These include the rising poverty level and misery index largely due to poor governance, as well as health, inequalities and insecurity."

He prayed that the Easter season would roll away all the adversities the country
is presently going through and usher in a more equitable, healthy and prosperous world. 

"I wish my fellow Citizens of Edo State and Nigeria and other Citizens of the World a very splendid Easter celebration."

Conduct Inquiry, Sustain Support For Ibadan Explosion Victims, Enabulele Urges Govt

Dr. Osahon Enabulele, immediate past President of the World Medical Association  Dr. Osahon Enabulele, immediate past President of the World Medical Association (WMA), on Wednesday, urged the government to conduct an inquiry into the Ibadan explosion and sustain emergency care for the injured victims. During an online interaction with Independent Newspapers , Enabulele expressed sadness over the development and urged continued  support for victims with the provision of the needed materials and supplies. He said, “While I share the pains and feelings of families of injured victims.  Thorough investigations must be carried out to unearth the possible cause(s) of the unfortunate incidence amid reports attributing the incidents to explosives stored by miners.”   Enabulele also urged for the involvement of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) in the inquiry into the explosion in the Bodija area of Ibadan and the execution of the recommendations that occurred on Tuesday.    The immed
