Nestlé Nigeria Unites With Wecylers To Curb Plastic Waste Pollution

Studies show that large quantity of plastic waste enters the natural environment, harms wildlife and damages ecosystems globally with 70 per cent ending up in the ocean. In Nigeria, more than 32 million metric tonnes of waste is generated annually, while Lagos alone produces about 10,000 metric tonnes of waste daily, most of which end up in landfills and in waterways, exacerbating health challenges and environmental hazards.
