A statement signed by Chima Nwakwo, Nigeria, Coordinator, Communications and Advocacy (NRCS) confirmed that the effort was carried out through the collaboration of the  Nigerian Red Cross Society collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
